Les Paul copy with Wilkinson pickups and hard case in Prestwick, Northumberland for sale

G2 Les Paul copy in cherry burst. Set neck, 2 Wilkinson humbuckers, 2 vol, 2 tone controls, 3-way pickup selector giving the full range of tones you’d expect from a Les Paul. The guitar is in great condition, enhanced by cream binding to the body, neck, and headstock. There’s only one very small mark on the front, near the base, otherwise it’s more or less as new. Don’t be put off by the name on the headstock. This is one very nice, very playable guitar. Perfect first guitar, or would make a very suitable backup/rehearsal guitar for the gigging musician. Nice chunky neck, solid body (both I think mahogany, with a maple sunburst cap and rosewood fretboard) but a comfortable weight. It’s recently had new strings, fretboard cleaned and oiled, and a full setup with a low action, and intonation spot-on. The hardware is all gold, with the exception of the pickup covers – when I got the guitar the pickup covers were gold, but the neck pickup sounded muddy and the bridge pickup wasn’t working, so I replaced them with a set of Wilkinson humbuckers. Big improvement. (The original pickups will be included if you want them. Personally, I’d just bin ‘em.) A quality hard case is included. So why am I selling?
